I’m a dynamic Product Experience Design leader with over two decades of experience designing digital products. I’ve spent most of the last 10 years in Senior, Principal, Manager, or Director roles, working as an in-house product designer on internal product teams, and for startups ranging from early stage (<25 people) to pre-IPO. I was also partner and co-founder of an independent design and development agency for 5 years.

I'm Sean, a Product Experience Designer bringing value to early series & growth stage startups and their customers through exceptionally designed product experiences.

Over the past 3 years in my most recent role with Federato, I was elevated to Head of Product Design within my first 3 months. I helped transform a seed-stage startup by building a high-performing design team and implementing strategic design-led initiatives that contributed to two rounds of financing in under 12 months. I am currently establishing the core foundation and vision leading Product Design for Clarity Security.

Throughout my career, I’ve demonstrated the ability to not only lead design teams, but also shape business strategy and drive growth, consistently delivering results that led to significant capital raises for 3 companies, and an acquisition for one since 2016. I’m passionate about leveraging design to solve complex challenges and I’m eager to bring my strategic vision and proven track record to design driven teams.
